The Video Generation API is now officially released, and you can access it through the MiniMax open platform.
This API will support two modes: text-to-video and image-to-video, generating videos at a quality of 720p and 25fps.
The interface uses asynchronous calls to submit tasks. After submitting a task, the interface will return a task ID, which can be used to check the status of the video generation task and obtain the corresponding file ID through the asynchronous task query interface. Once the generation task is complete, you can download the result using the File (Retrieve) interface with the file ID. Please note that the returned URL will be valid for 9 hours (i.e., 32,400 seconds) from the time the URL is generated; after this period, the URL will expire, and the generated information will be lost. Be sure to download the information within the validity period.
API Overview
There are two main APIs: creating video generation tasks and querying the status of video generation tasks. The steps for use are as follows:
1. Create a video generation task to obtain a task_id.
2. Use the task_id to check the status of the video generation task.
3. If the task is successfully generated, you can use the file_id returned by the query interface to view and download the results through the File API.
