We’re thrilled to announce a groundbreaking global collaboration between MiniMax and WSXA Amsterdam — an international creative festival that celebrates bold expression through moving image, music, and movement. Together, we’re launching the WSXA x Hailuo AI Film Competition, inviting creators worldwide to explore how AI can reshape cinematic storytelling around themes that matter.

About WSXA Amsterdam

Organized by Around Films, WSXA Amsterdam is more than just a festival — it’s a global platform for independent voices and immersive storytelling. Known for its socially conscious approach and innovative showcases, WSXA has built a reputation for spotlighting art that challenges creative and ethical boundaries, with screenings across Europe and a global network of visionary artists.

WSXA x Hailuo AI Film Competition

This one-of-a-kind competition invites filmmakers, artists, and creators to craft AI-powered short films that explore critical issues at the intersection of humanity, technology, and the planet.

With €2,500 in prizes, finalists will have their films screened at WSXA Amsterdam in October 2025, with select winners receiving an additional opportunity to showcase their work at ARFF Berlin in November.
